Hey Everyone! I know it’s been a while, I hope everyone has been doing well. Lately I’ve been feeling stressed and uncertain about things in my life. And usually I write, talk things out with family/friends, etc. or I’ll do a little bit of everything (my normal de-stressers). I realize now that stressing over things I may not have complete control over isn’t healthy. So all I can do is take things a day at a time and know that things will fall into place when the time is right. I’m a firm believer in things happening for a reason, and that things are meant to be for a reason. Worrying and or stressing won’t help the current situation, it will ultimately make it worse in my opinion because you’ll be focusing all this energy on something that you have no control over. Continue to go about your normal day, and try not to think about things you can’t control. It’s funny I guess, because if we had control over everything in our lives we wouldn’t feel like how we do sometimes, the uneasiness, uncomfortable, or stressed feeling. So don’t worry! Things will work out when the time is right!
Happy Memorial Day! 🙂
This is a great post. I’ve fallen victim to the stresses of trying to be everything for everyone and worrying about my priorities and responsibilities. I’m learning to do as much as I can when I can, to let go, breathe, and let God direct me. Great post!

Mahneerah! I am so sorry for just seeing this. I am in the process of updating my wordpress account so I will be more diligent at responding to comments. I am glad what I wrote you were able to relate too! I am still learning that, and I wrote this two years ago. It has gotten easier I must say, but sometimes it gets difficult.

I agree! I cant see when you wrote this but this is exactly what I have been feeling lol I recently saw a post that said “what if i told you that everything you are going through is preparing you for what you asked for,” and it made me think, nothing coming easy! Or at least nothing worth having. So yep, i have just been living everyday like its perfect even when all hell breaks loose. I can’t change what’s already done. And something are inevitable so, i just go with the flow. Its easier. In boxing they tesch you to go with the punch it hurts less. In driving then teach you to steer toward the skid when you car slids to avoid spinning and making things worse. In swimming the teach you to go with the current because going against it will leave you breathless and in the same spot. And finally while cutting hair the tell you to go with the grain because going against it will live you bald. There’s so many more things in life that say go with the flow and yet…we try to fight. Sometimes…the real challenge is to find away to ise those “lemon” and make lemonade.

I agree with you. Sometimes it’s hard to not beat yourself up and not be stickler about things. Even know, and I wrote this maybe a year ago (I can’t see as I’m replying) lol but yes, it’s something I am learning to get a grasp of and just take a breath. Things will fall into place as they should and when the time is right.
